• Your health is more important than social embarrassment.
• See your doctor regularly for check up.

Dont's
• Do not doubt the need for proper treatment.
• Never fall prey to unscientific miraculous remedies and offer yourself as guinea pig for experimentation by an amateur or unqualified person.
• Do not take for granted that you cannot develop any complications of the disease, since you believe so.
• Do not take your tablets or insulin injections rather casually; even occasional slips can lead to avoidable complication.
